ALL ABOUT ME

Derek-Seaman-full by .

My name is Derek Seaman and I studied at the University of Kansas and currently reside in beautiful San Diego, California.  Over 20 years ago I caught a severe case of the travel bug, and I have traveled to over 60 countries throughout the world capturing exotic natural elements with my camera that influence my creative style.

I have photographed many dozens of locations such as Nepal, New Zealand, Australia, Bali, Easter Island, Morocco, U.K., Italy, and Peru. Waking up at 4am to capture the perfect sunrise, or flying 8,000 miles to a location are the norm, not the exception. From the rugged New Zealand mountains to the transitioning reeds of the grassy fields of Easter Island, I pull interest from mother nature.

I've been lucky enough to have seen many incredible places throughout my life, and my camera is never far from my side. I look forward to future shooting adventures in Iceland and beyond.

I love what I do, and I hope that you enjoy my photos as much as I like to shoot them. Feedback is always welcome, so don't be shy about contacting me. I am very active on social media so be sure to follow me.

Wow I didn't realize it, but this past January was my 10th anniversary of my blog at https://t.co/pTgbHS86ZI! Doesn't feel like 10 years at all. I still enjoy blogging, even if I haven't has as much time for it lately as I would like.
